What we do
Xcel Energy’s Partners in Energy program is an initiative that supports communities in Colorado, Minnesota, and Wisconsin by helping them develop customized energy plans and then providing guidance to carry out those plans.
The program works collaboratively with local governments, residents, and businesses to identify each community’s unique energy goals and priorities, then offers tools, resources, and technical assistance to move those plans forward.
It also creates a platform for participating communities to share knowledge, access educational materials, and collaborate with one another as they pursue energy-related improvements.

Participating in Partners in Energy gives communities a clear, supported pathway to achieve goals that directly benefit their residents and local economy. The program offers a holistic approach that helps communities connect Xcel Energy programs with other local, state, and nonprofit resources, ensuring efforts are aligned and mutually reinforcing. The program helps communities navigate programs, rebates and incentives to increase energy efficiency and advance beneficial electrification.
