The Electrification Workforce Network (EWN) is a Denver regional coalition connecting employers, education and training providers, labor unions, public agencies, and community partners to increase equitable access to quality jobs in beneficial electrification.
History
The Electrification Workforce Network (EWN) is the first workforce-focused Partners in Energy community. EWN was established in September 2024 with the goal of creating quality jobs and fostering an equitable and inclusive workforce in sectors related to beneficial electrification. The Network's launched it's implementation with a focus on electricians in the Denver metro area and is using lessons learned to expand into other industries.
Highlights and achievements
- Webinar series: A bimonthly webinar series spotlighting key stakeholders in the electrification workforce.
- Quarterly events: Member-led events that provide workforce resources and connect stakeholders. To date, EWN has hosted a resource fair for jobseekers with more than 120 attendees, partnered with IECRM to host a job fair, and hosted three networking events for it's members.
- EWN Board: In 2026, the EWN established an advisory board to steer the future direction of the network.
